Karla is our in-house Medicaid expert. She serves the firm by sitting in on Medicaid consultations, gathering and organizing documents for Medicaid applications, and keeping in touch with clients throughout and after the whole application process. She has been with our firm since 2015. Before joining The Love Law Group, she worked over 30 years for the Missouri Department of Social Services processing Medicaid and public assistance cases, with the last 18 years in supervision and management of various county offices throughout the state.

She has a passion for helping others and working with people to come to the best solutions for their individual situations. She loves that she gets to work directly with families, learning their stories and guiding them through the Medicaid process. She said, “The expression of relief we witness when a client learns about the potential options they have is priceless.”

She married her high school sweetheart and has lived in Odessa, MO most of her life. She enjoys being active in her small-town rural community and church, spending time with her grandchildren, and going on beach vacations.
